Record, produce and create in one of the most unique studio environments in Costa Rica.
Music at Airborne Arts
Beyond aerial arts, Airborne Arts is home to a professional music production and recording studio. Tucked into the mountains of South-West Costa Rica, the studio overlooks the Diamante valley, surrounded by jungle on every side. Howler monkeys call from the canopy. Tropical birds move through the trees. The Pacific Ocean sits on the horizon. It is not a typical place to make music and that is precisely the point.
The studio was built by Jonathon Conant, a published singer/songwriter and co-founder of Trapeze School New York. After years of performing, writing and producing, Jonathon designed this space to serve the creative process the same way the rest of the property serves the physical one: with intention, beauty and room to breathe.
Whether you want to record original material, collaborate on a new project, or simply sit with a guitar and let the setting do its work, the studio is here for you. Jonathon is available to produce, co-write, play, or step back and let you have the space to yourself. The goal is simple: give musicians a place where great work happens naturally.

Capabilities
Everything you need to write, record, produce and finish your music in one of the most inspiring settings on the planet.
Capture vocals, instruments and live sessions with professional-grade microphones and recording equipment designed for clean, detailed sound.
Layer, arrange and build your tracks with a full digital audio workstation and the tools to shape every element of your sound exactly the way you hear it.
Work alongside a published singer/songwriter and experienced producer. Co-write new material, get arrangement feedback, or bring in a session musician who knows the room and the gear.
Take your recordings from raw tracks to finished product. Balance, polish and prepare your music for release with professional mixing and mastering support.
The sounds of the jungle are part of the studio's character. Birdsong, wind through the canopy, distant waterfalls. Record with the doors open or closed, depending on what the song needs.
Guitar, keyboards, percussion and other instruments are available in the studio. Bring your own or use what is here. Sometimes the best ideas come from picking up something unfamiliar.
Who It's For
The Jungle Studio is open to anyone with something to create. Here are a few of the musicians and artists who get the most from the space.
You came for the aerial arts, the jungle, the food, the waterfalls. But you also play. The studio is here whenever you want it, whether that is a full recording session or an hour with a guitar after dinner.
Sometimes you need to leave your usual environment to hear something new. The mountains, the wildlife, the quiet between sessions: this place tends to shake things loose. Bring a notebook and see what happens.
Looking for a unique recording experience? Bring your group to the Jungle Studio for a dedicated session or an extended stay. Work during the day, explore the property and surrounding jungle in the evenings.
You do not need to be a professional to use the studio. If you have always wanted to record a song, try your hand at production, or simply experiment with sound in a beautiful place, this is your chance.
