The heart of Airborne Arts. We fly almost every day, 8 meters above the jungle floor.
See It In Action
Flying trapeze is not a once-a-week novelty here. It runs almost every day of the week, weather permitting, for guests at every level. Climb the ladder, take the bar, and feel what real flight is like over the Costa Rican jungle.
What It Feels Like
Our outdoor rig stands 8 meters tall with a swing arc of more than 20 meters, giving you the space and momentum to experience true flight. A professional-grade safety net and full apron system sit below the bar, so you can push your limits without worry. With a catcher in the air, you can progress to real catches and returns as your skills grow.
Every two-hour session follows a clear progression. First-timers start on the ground with body position, timing and the "hep" call, then climb the ladder and fly. By the end of a first session, most students hang from their knees and, with the catcher, make their first catch. Returning flyers move into backflips, layout returns and split catches. Advanced flyers work doubles, twisting dismounts and performance sequences.
Who You Fly With
Our lead coach, Jonathon Conant, co-founded Trapeze School New York, one of the most recognized flying trapeze schools in the world. Over more than two decades he has taught thousands of students of every age and ability, from children as young as four to adults in their seventies. His approach is patient, encouraging and technically precise, whether he is helping someone climb the ladder for the first time or refining the timing of an experienced flyer's double.
All levels are welcome, from first-timers to seasoned performers. No experience is needed to start, and there is always more to chase once you do.
Fly With Us
Group flying trapeze sessions start from $75 per person and run about two hours. Flying is included in every multi-day retreat, and we welcome drop-ins for visitors in the Dominical area when space allows. Want a full week in the air? See our flying trapeze retreats.
