Where You Stay
The accommodations at Airborne Arts are unlike anything you will find at a typical retreat center or eco lodge. Every structure on the property was hand-built over the course of more than a decade, using natural materials sourced from the surrounding mountains. Hardwood timbers, river stone, hand-carved furniture and original artwork fill every room. The architecture is open-air by design, inviting the sounds, breezes and sights of the jungle into every space. You wake up to birdsong and the distant roar of waterfalls. You fall asleep to the sounds of the forest.
Perched above the Diamante valley in the mountains of South-West Costa Rica, the property overlooks the Pacific Ocean, 300 miles of coastal mountain range and an 1,800-foot waterfall. The views from every room are extraordinary. From the Master Suite, you can watch the sunset paint the Pacific horizon. From the guest dorm, you look out over the valley as howler monkeys call from the canopy below. Even the glamping tents and jungle cabins offer vistas that most luxury hotels cannot match.
All stays at Airborne Arts include three freshly prepared meals each day. Our in-house chef uses locally sourced, mostly organic ingredients to create hearty, flavorful meals that fuel your training and nourish your body. Fresh tropical fruit, Costa Rican coffee, house-made bread, grilled meats, roasted vegetables and creative dishes inspired by both local and international cuisine are served daily. Dietary restrictions and preferences are always accommodated with care. From the food to the rooms to the views that greet you every morning, staying here is an experience that becomes part of the reason you came.
The Crown Jewel
The Master Suite at Airborne Arts is, quite simply, one of the most romantic rooms in Costa Rica. Lying in the hand-made sleigh bed, you look out through floor-to-ceiling openings onto a view that defies description: the Pacific Ocean stretching to the horizon, 300 miles of the coastal mountain range unfolding to the north and south and an 1,800-foot waterfall cascading down the cliffside directly across the valley. Sunsets from this bed are the kind of thing people talk about for years.
The room itself is a work of art. Thirty-foot painted ceilings soar above you, adorned with original artwork that took years to complete. Every piece of furniture was custom-built on site from tropical hardwoods and natural materials. The bathroom features a giant stone bathtub, large enough for two and a sink that was hand-carved from the root system of an indigenous tree. The detail and craftsmanship in this room reflect the same care and intention that went into building the entire property. Nothing here was mass-produced. Nothing came from a catalog. Every surface was shaped by hand.
The Master Suite is a favorite among honeymooners, couples celebrating anniversaries and anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to stay. It is also a popular choice for guests on private and VIP retreats who want the best possible accommodations during their training week. The suite sleeps up to four guests and includes a private balcony area where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch toucans fly across the valley. There is no television, no alarm clock and no need for either. The view alone will keep you company.

Panoramic Valley Views
The Avalon Guest Room is a private, beautifully appointed room with extra-large glass sliding doors that open directly onto the Baru valley and the mountains stretching toward Manuel Antonio. The room was designed so that the view is the first thing you see when you wake up and the last thing you see before you sleep. On clear mornings, the valley fills with a soft layer of mist that burns off as the sun rises, revealing layers of green ridgelines and the distant shimmer of the Pacific coast.
Inside, the Avalon features a custom-designed bathroom with a rainforest-inspired aesthetic. Natural stone, warm wood accents and hand-selected fixtures create a space that feels both luxurious and grounded in the natural surroundings. The bed is comfortable and generously sized, with quality linens that make it easy to sleep deeply after a long day of training or adventure. The room accommodates up to four guests and offers plenty of natural light throughout the day.
The Avalon is an excellent choice for guests who want privacy and comfort with panoramic views of the valley. It is well suited for couples, solo travelers, or small groups looking for a quieter, more intimate setting within the property. The room connects to the main areas of the property via covered walkways, keeping you close to the dining area, pool and training facilities while still offering a sense of retreat and seclusion.
Surrounded by Nature
The Aerial Studio Guest Dorm occupies a natural wood room within the aerial training studio itself, overlooking the valley, the waterfalls and the jungle canopy below. This is the space where the sounds of the property come alive. In the mornings, you wake to the calls of toucans and scarlet macaws. Howler monkeys announce the dawn from the treetops just outside your window. The sound of rushing water from the waterfalls across the valley provides a natural soundtrack that lulls you to sleep at night.
The dorm is set up in a shared style, making it a great option for groups of friends, retreat participants who enjoy a more communal atmosphere, or solo travelers looking for an affordable and immersive stay. The space is clean, comfortable and full of natural light. Beds are arranged with privacy in mind and the room includes a private bathroom with a hot shower. The wood construction and open-air design give the space a warm, cabin-like feel that connects you directly to the surrounding jungle.
For many guests, staying in the aerial studio dorm is a highlight of the experience. You are literally living inside the training space, steps away from the silks rigging and the aerial equipment. There is something special about rolling out of bed and walking straight into your morning warm-up with the valley stretching out in front of you. It is a fully immersive way to experience Airborne Arts.
Cozy and Private
The A-frame jungle cabins sit tucked into the canopy, surrounded by tropical trees and the sounds of the forest. These cabins are small, cozy and full of character. Built with wood grown right here on the property by the Airborne Arts team, the warm wood interiors, comfortable beds and natural light pouring through the triangular windows at each end give the space a feeling of being wrapped in the jungle itself. At night, the cabin becomes a private cocoon where you can hear the rain on the roof and the chorus of frogs and insects that fills the darkness.
Each cabin sleeps up to 2 guests and is designed for simplicity and comfort. The interiors are thoughtfully furnished, with hooks for your gear, storage for your belongings and just enough space to feel at home without any of the clutter. The triangular A-frame design is both practical and charming. The steep roofline sheds tropical rain effortlessly, while the high ceiling peak creates an open, airy feeling even in a compact footprint. Shared eco-friendly bathrooms are located a short walk from the cabins.
The jungle cabins are a favorite among guests who prefer a rustic, back-to-nature style of accommodation without sacrificing comfort. They are private, quiet and set apart from the main structures of the property, giving you a sense of solitude and retreat within the larger community. If you love the feeling of a mountain cabin or a treehouse and you want that experience surrounded by tropical jungle in one of the most beautiful valleys in Costa Rica, the A-frames are your spot.
Immersive Jungle Living
Our Lotus Belle glamping tents offer something rare: all the immersion of sleeping in the jungle with none of the roughness. These are spacious, airy, beautifully designed structures that sit on raised platforms under the canopy. Inside, you will find comfortable beds, quality linens and enough room to move around freely. The tent walls let in natural light during the day while keeping you sheltered and dry when the rain comes. At night, the sounds of the jungle surround you completely. It is glamping at its finest, in one of the most spectacular settings in Costa Rica.
Each glamping tent has access to shared bathroom facilities located nearby, with a hot shower and all the essentials. The tents accommodate one to four guests comfortably, making them a flexible option for couples, solo travelers, or small groups. The area around the tents is landscaped with tropical plants and connected to the main property by jungle walkways, so you are never far from the pool, dining area and training facilities.
The glamping tents are available during the dry season, from December through April, when the weather is warm, sunny and perfect for sleeping close to nature. If you have always wanted to try glamping but wanted it in a place that actually delivers on the promise of beauty and comfort, this is the experience. Many guests tell us that falling asleep in the tent with the stars visible through the canopy above was one of their favorite memories of the trip.
Flexible Configurations
With a mix of private rooms, shared spaces, and glamping options, Airborne Arts can accommodate groups ranging from intimate gatherings to full-property buyouts. Here is what we have to work with.
Guests are spread across the jungle cabins, private rooms, and glamping tents. The aerial studio dorm opens up additional beds for larger groups. Everyone shares the common spaces, pool, and training areas.
Every room used as a private single at the lower end, or double occupancy at the higher end. This configuration uses the jungle cabins, Avalon Guest Room, Master Suite, and Music Studio without opening the dorm. Ideal for couples retreats or groups that value their own space.
For groups with chill festival energy. Think acro-yoga retreats, gathering weekends, or communities that are comfortable sharing space, sleeping on couches, outdoor daybeds, and the hanging net. This is the maximum when every bed, tent, and resting spot on the property is in play. Not for every group, but when it fits, it is something special.

Every stay at Airborne Arts includes three freshly prepared meals each day, along with freshly prepared coffee and smoothies throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are made from locally sourced, mostly organic ingredients by our in-house chef. Meals are hearty, flavorful and designed to fuel an active day of training and exploration. Expect fresh tropical fruits, Costa Rican coffee, farm eggs, grilled proteins, vibrant salads, roasted vegetables, homemade sauces and creative dishes inspired by both local Costa Rican cuisine and international flavors.
We are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary needs. Just let us know when you book and our chef will make sure every meal works for you. Eating together at the communal dining table is one of the best parts of the Airborne Arts experience. It is where new friendships form, training stories are shared and plans for the next day's adventure come together over a cup of locally roasted coffee.
