Lyra intensives in an open-air jungle studio, taught by artists who perform on the world's biggest stages.
In the Round
Aerial hoop has become the heart of our guest-instructor program. Recent and upcoming retreat weeks have been led by international hoop artists, including Cirque du Soleil performers, who bring repertoire and coaching you would otherwise have to chase across continents. For one week, that level of instruction lives in a jungle studio above the Diamante valley, next to an 1,800-foot waterfall.
The format is an immersion. Daily technique sessions build spin tolerance, transitions and strength in the hoop. Creative sessions work choreography, musicality and the personal style that separates a sequence from an act. Between sessions there is real rest: three freshly prepared meals a day, the pool overlooking the valley, and a bed close enough to the studio that you can hear the rigging settle at night.
Because hoop weeks are often led by guest artists, each retreat has its own flavor and its own focus. Some lean technical, stacking new transitions and strength moves. Some lean artistic, building toward a final-night sharing. The retreat pages for each week spell out the level, the coach and the focus, so you can pick the week that fits where your training is right now.
If you run a studio or perform yourself, the property is also available for your own hoop retreat. We handle lodging, meals, rigging and registration, and you teach. That is how most of our hoop weeks came to exist.
What a Hoop Week Covers
Building comfortable spin tolerance and the clean transitions that hold up inside it.
Meathooks, delilahs and the conditioning that makes them repeatable, scaled to your level.
Turning skill lists into phrases, and phrases into an act with intention behind it.
Many weeks close with an informal performance under the lights for those who want it.
Where to Go Next
Every stay includes lodging above the Diamante valley and three freshly prepared meals a day. Deposits and payment plans are available on most retreat weeks, so you can reserve your spot now and pay over time.
Common Questions
It varies by week. Each retreat page states its level clearly: some welcome all levels, while guest-artist intensives often ask for comfortable inversions and basic hoop vocabulary. If you are unsure, message us and we will tell you honestly which week fits.

Typically two coached sessions plus optional conditioning and open training, with a rest day midweek. It is a genuine intensive, and the schedule still leaves room for the waterfall.
Retreat pricing includes coaching, lodging, and three daily meals. You can add a private room upgrade and on-site experiences like massage when you register, and pay in full or reserve depending on the retreat.
