The Dance Trapeze Retreat is a week-long immersion in Costa Rica for intermediate to advanced trapeze artists. Together we will explore the balance between effort and ease, strength and expression, technique and creativity. Through spinning, sequencing, movement quality, and creative expression, you will uncover new possibilities in the way you move, create, and connect with your trapeze. Set amongst the beauty of the Costa Rican jungle, this is an opportunity to immerse yourself in movement, creativity, nature, and community. A week to refine your technique, deepen your artistry, and develop a richer relationship with your practice.

Kalina is a dance trapeze artist, mother, bodyworker and mentor known for her unique approach to spinning, movement language, and artistic development within the aerial world. After years of traditional training across dance, circus arts, somatic movement, and physical theatre, she developed a methodology that helps trapeze artists move beyond technical execution and into deeply embodied artistic expression. Her work has supported artists around the world in cultivating movement that feels both technically refined and distinctively their own.
